UMass Club Golf
The university's only golf program. Student-run since 2021.
About the team
Reestablished in 2021 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, we have grown from a small group of students who love to golf to a prominent club known for our sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication to promoting golf within the university.
We compete in National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) New England Region events and in NCAA D1, D2 and D3 events across the country, which lets our members travel, play excellent courses, and represent UMass alongside top collegiate teams.
Our home course is the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, a Donald Ross design with a full practice facility.

Make the team
36 holes of stroke play over two days. Ten spots on the team are decided there.
Tryouts are held each year when students return to campus, usually the last weekend of August or the first weekend of September.
